Perigee Integrations is looking for a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst working with Charter Communications. This is a contract to hire position and candidates based in Denver, CO or willing to relocate to Denver should only apply.

Job Description - Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst

The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst will be responsible for supporting the ongoing operations of the GIS program and systems, and design and/or prepare graphic representations of data, both spatial and non-spatial. The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst will work with the GIS program to create and maintain mapping applications, self-service tools and various data blending and processing automations as well as all geographically referenced data. This position requires one to be flexible, be able to multitask, think intuitively, implore time management skills, and possess troubleshooting ability. The GIS Analyst must take ownership of project they are tasked to complete and will report progress regularly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •       Develop and/or maintain online mapping applications hosted in Charter’s ESRI Portal environment that support various groups within the organization
  •       Develop automations and self-service tools using Alteryx (or comparable data blending software) between various company systems
  •       Identify process and reporting streamlining opportunities both within the GIS team and across the Charter organization and develop workflows to improve efficiencies
  •       Prepares GIS databases, maps, reports and specialized queries in support of various projects
  •       Consistently test data for quality and completeness and actively promotes the highest data quality in all personal and team deliverables.
  •       Uses scripting, desktop GIS, and modeling applications to automate data analysis for a variety of purposes
  •       Writes summarized reports and communicates results of data analytics, including technology and data recommendations
  •       Develops system documentation and user requirements and how-to on GIS best practices and functionality
  •       Wireless site selection support and related scenario analysis

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Spatial Data Infrastructure with GIS tools including ESRI ArcGIS and ESRI Portal
  •       Three or more (3+) years of experience with GIS or Data Analytics including geospatial standards
  •       Advanced knowledge of spatial analytics, mapping application creation and maintenance, cartographic and GIS concepts, database management principles, and product output/development.
  •       Experience with Alteryx (or comparable data blending software)
  •       Experience working with ArcGIS Desktop (or comparable software) on a daily or weekly basis to create maps and/or run analysis.
  •       Experience with SQL required
  •       Experience with Python, C#, Xamarin and HTML preferred
  •       Experience with Tableau or comparable data analytics and presentation software preferred
  •       Resourcefulness, speed, and creativity in problem solving with excellent critical thinking skills.
  •       Ability to meet with users to establish specific project requirements/priorities and communicate these to the GIS team to develop products that meets the client's needs.
  •       Advanced experience working with the Microsoft Suite of products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  •       Experience with summarizing and presenting data to both technical and non-technical audiences as well as upper management.
  •       Able to efficiently and quickly utilize all available tools and datasets to find creative solutions to challenging problems.
  •       Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  •       Prior experience in Wireless, Mobile, or Telecommunications industry preferred

Wireless Network Architect

Job Description

Perigee Integrations is looking for a Wireless Network Architect for Tier 1 Carrier. The candidate is required to take a design/architect role in the implementation of MVNOs in Europe and APAC by working with equipment vendors and be part of a multicultural, geo-diverse team. The candidate is required to be part of design, deployment, system integration and test, and production support. It is an essential requirement to have good communication skills and ability to clearly and concisely articulate issues and solutions to native and non-native English speakers.

Only candidates meeting most of the requirements below should apply:

  • 5+ years’ experience of 3GPP packet cores GPRs to LTE including DNS resolution, end to end signaling and connectivity including applications & client/server.
  • Understanding of the following protocols:
    • GTP & its variants
    • SS7 (including Sigtran)
    • CAP
    • MAP
    • Radius & Diameter
  • Knowledge of 3GPP standards and releases.
  • Real world experience in 3GPP network and system architecture (subsystems, interfaces, hw/sw dependencies). 
  • Creation of Architecture & Requirements documents, driving them through review and approval.  Proven experience of working with 3rd party vendors & analyzing solutions.
  • Knowledge and working experience in mobility roaming scenarios.
  • Good team player but also able to work independently when required.
  • Ability to manage complex solutions, identify and pull together subject matter experts to resolve issues to implementation and conclusion.
  • Proficient in specifying and evaluating architecture requirements for RFxs.
  • Experience in IOT is advantageous but not a pre-requisite.

Wireless Network Specialist

Perigee Integrations is looking for a Wireless Network Specialist having experience in GSM/CDMA, 3G/LTE/VoLTE technologies, EPC and IMS Core network elements, call flows, protocols such as SS7, CAMEL, SIP, TCP/IP. Candidates matching some of the following requirements may apply:

  • Bachelors degree with 8-10 years or Masters degree with 4-5 years experience in the field of Telecommunications (Wireless, Fiber, Cable etc)
